MOLYKOTE® Anti-Friction Coatings
Often referred to as "lubricating coatings", MOLYKOTE® Anti-Friction Coatings contain solid lubricants that are dissolved using carefully selected resin blends and solvents. Our Anti-Friction Coatings help improve safety, reliability and performance for our customers by counteracting abrasion and wear, preventing component failures, extending lubrication intervals and reducing production and operating costs.
MOLYKOTE® Anti Friction Coatings (AFCs) are economical to use, long lasting and proven in applications where other lubricants fail. They offer the following advantages in particular:
- Dry, clean lubrication that is insensitive to dust, dirt and moisture.
- Long-lasting lubrication without deterioration due to ageing, evaporation or oxidation
- Prevention of rust without surface treatment (such as galvanisation)
- Non-flammable protection for metals, plastics and elastomers without staining
- Controlled film thickness for exact load-bearing capacity
- Highly effective lubrication, even after prolonged standstill
